AX Survivor

We survived Anime Expo this year, it was fun and crazy, and even a little stressful, but all in all it was a good time. WE practically trick-or-treated from exhibit hall booth to booth, and came up with some good loot, adn we finally saw Naussica of the Valley of Wind. Miazakyi you are a total animating genius! The hotel we stayed at was a really nice 5 star hotel, but they charged you for everything, even the bottled water. So jokes abound that they were gonna charge us for the air we were breathing adn attach it to our bill.

Anyway, this weekend were babysitting for my Aunt Rhonda, b/c its her anniversary. It will be fun to chill with my cousins david and Leah and spend some time with them.  My sister is also coming down and were celebating my nephew’s first birthday, YAY!!! WE got him some really cool books that make noise. We hear he is into things that light up and make noise right now. Anyway, Crazy stuff is going on in my life and I finally got a pocket calander to keep track of everything since my ginormous calander woin’t fit into any purse I own.

Comings and Goings

Things are getting ready to fly next week as our busy schedule picks up. Scott starts his classes again, and has to get his GSTAR program up and running by August at work. I have dance festival that is taking over my life like a bad infestation, and were both looking forward to Anime Expo this year and the Juiyuki Concert.

Scott and I are going out tonight on a date to the RCC planetarium to see the Suns Family show, and then out to dinner. We havent’ had much tme to go out together lately so its nice to be able to get out and go somewhere. We are also excited to see My sister and and My nephew Lincoln. We are celebrating his first birthday in July. Its been so nice to see so much of family in the past month. Speaking of family Bethany is finally engaged!!! The date has been set for September 19th! Were so happy for her and Andrew!

Other than that this weekend is pretty slow, sort of the calm before the storm if you will. Were gonna have a small swim party on saturday, and see friends. Other than my Graduation dinner, its been a while since I have seen them, and a few I haven’t seen in like 3 months. So hopefully we can all make time for a beach trip or something this summer.

Everything is going well for Scott and I this week. Scott has his final this week, adn next week starts his next class. We are also planning a trip to the Anime Convention this year. It seems like it will be lots of fun and are really excited to go. We are still saving up for our trip to utah in June. Scott also has a visit to the dentist this week, so we will see how far that sets us back.

In other news, our stake re-aligned ward boundaries, and our ward grew by a at least a 100. I am getting 5 new mia maids right off the bat. So I will have a total of 8. And before the end of the year I am getting 2 more. Thats a lot of young ladies to teach. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. It feels as if the responsibility jsut got even heavier.

The summer is finally announcing itself with 103 degree weather. We keep from melting with plenty of icecream and staying inside in the air conditioning.  Scott and I are both getting over teeth issues this month and are hoping to be done with all of it next month. At the end of last month scott and I had a beautiful little vacation to San Diego. It was really nice and relaxing to get away from everything for just a while.

Jon came home this month. I have included a picture of him right after he got off the plane. It is so good to have him home even though he won’t be here for long. Scott and I are still saving for our week long vacation to Utah in June. We don’t know if it will end up being a reality, but were socking away what we can.
